Join us for the final event of the Business Bytes season on Wednesday, 10 May and learn how to 'Take control of your business costs'.
The SFA Business Bytes, which are entirely free of charge, offer small businesses access to expert information and advice and an opportunity to network with their peers. The series is supported by Bord Gáis Energy.
Controlling your business costs is essential to warding off competitors and maintaining a healthy bottom line. This seminar will address some of the major costs that small businesses face and provide advice on how to find savings without compromising the quality you deliver to your customers.
Industry experts will provide tips on:
- Getting the best deal on INSURANCE: understanding the market, identifying the cover you need, getting the best price. For businesses with an insurance renewal date approaching or who have been subject to increasing premuims.
- Tackling your ENERGY bills: buying services vs products, energy efficiency. For businesses with high energy usage and those open to a new approach to energy and other costs, e.g. printing.
- Controling LABOUR costs: salary benchmarking, employee relations, handling pay discussions. For businesses under pressure from employee wage expectations or unsure of how to set wages in the current labour market.
