Business Connect Report 2018

Back in February, the SFA launched a new initiative – Business Connect. This was a unique marketplace event, which brought SFA member companies together with Ireland’s leading medium and large companies. 350 businesses participated in a half-day of B2B procurement talks and networking in the Aviva Stadium.

We are delighted now to launch the Business Connect Report, a practical guide for small businesses aiming to supply into large indigenous and multinational firms.

The three sections of the report mirror the three event sessions and capture the main insights presented from the stage and in the roundtable discussions.

  1. Getting the contract
  2. Making your pitch
  3. Collaborate to innovate

I hope this will be a valuable resource for all companies, large and small, as they engage in B2B contracts.

We are always looking for case studies of B2B success stories. Share your experiences with us at and you could be showcased when the Business Connect marketplace event returns in February 2019.

In the meantime, we hope you can join us for the SFA Annual Conference, ‘Time to transform’, on 24 May in UCD.

Looking forward to seeing you then,

Sven Spollen-Behrens
