SFA E-zine – The Tuesday Edition

Dear Member,

Welcome to this week's edition of our SFA e-zine.

We have some excellent articles for you this week focusing on attracting and retaining staff and employee wellbeing, starting off with a recent Deloitte study which revealed some interesting facts about the rise of ‘social enterprise’, which includes communication tools, well-being programmes, collaboration and more.

Ibec launched its newSmarter World, Smarter Workcampaign this week which focuses on the need for better education to create a more adaptable workforce. Ibec is also running a survey about student work placement requests and we would welcome your input.

Check out our new GDPR and recruitment web page, which will provide you with all you need to know about processing candidate information.

As part of SFA Affinity, each week we are highlighting some of the amazing offers available to members - this week we have the spotlight on Medmark Wellzone, an employee wellbeing programme.

FSI CareerPlus is offering a Professional Diploma in SME Credit at 90% off which is now open to employees.  This is a great way for a business to upskill employees for a fraction of the cost of the course.

As always, we’d love to hear from you about any queries you may have, issues you wish to have raised with Government or other stakeholders and your ideas on how we can improve the business environment for us all. Please contact me on tel: 01 605 1602 or e-mail: sven@sfa.ie or tweet: @SFA_Irl or visit: www.sfa.ie.

Kind regards,

Sven Spollen-Behrens
