SFA E-zine - The Tuesday Edition

Dear Member,

Welcome to this edition of the SFA e-zine.

Please invest five minutes of your time this week and take part in our Summer Sentiment Survey. Your input will help us voice small business concerns with central government and allow us to track key trends in the small business sector.

The SFA recently made a submission to the Department of Finance's SME tax incentives consultation in relation to the Employment and Investment Incentive (EII); Start-up Refunds for Entrepreneur (SURE); the Start-up Capital Initiative (SCI); the Key Employee Engagement Programme (KEEP); and CGT Entrepreneurs' Relief.

Learning never stops for small businesses! Our SFA Skillnet courses for June cover finance for non-financial managers, wellbeing, getting the best out of CRM, pitching to sell and winning customers with digital marketing.

As part of our Grow, Scale, Succeed campaign, we have prepared a guide to help you source new employees and ease those recruitment struggles you might be facing. We also bring you details of an eBook from the IE Domain Registry which helps you get an accurate website quote for your business.

Our next Business Bytes event is taking place on 12 June in Dublin and will cover creating engaging content across social media platforms, be sure to book your place today.

As always, we’d love to hear from you about any queries you may have, issues you wish to have raised with Government or other stakeholders and your ideas on how we can improve the business environment for us all. Please contact me on tel: 01 605 1602 or e-mail: sven@sfa.ie or tweet: @SFA_Irl or visit: www.sfa.ie.

Kind regards,

Sven Spollen-Behrens
