SFA E-zine ? The Tuesday Edition

Dear Member,

Welcome to this week's edition of our SFA e-zine.

After the budget announcement last week we have an article for you that highlights the potential impact for employers. We have our post budget briefing this Thursday in the Bank of Ireland workbench in Trinity college from 6pm.  At our event we will also be launching our third publication calling on government to implement a Small Business Strategy and to create a supportive tax environment for small business.  You can find the publication on our website from today. It is a free event but you need to register in advance.

The second evening in the Business Bytes series is taking place on Wednesday 7 November and we will be discussing PAYE modernisation and 9 other essential things about business taxation.  This is an event not to be missed for business owners.

The SFA National Small Business awards are closing for applications this Friday, with only three days left make sure you don’t miss this opportunity to promote and showcase small business, either yours or someone that you know, that you think have the chance to be a finalist in the awards.

Places at the SFA Annual Lunch are filling up fast and we want to make sure as many of our valued members as possible can attend so make sure you book you seat today.

As always, we’d love to hear from you about any queries you may have, issues you wish to have raised with Government or other stakeholders and your ideas on how we can improve the business environment for us all. Please contact me on tel: 01 605 1602 or e-mail: sven@sfa.ie or tweet: @SFA_Irl or visit: www.sfa.ie.

Kind regards,

Sven Spollen-Behrens
