This unique and innovative workshop will highlight and demonstrate how an organisation can implement the GDPR in practice, through interactive discussions and presentations from industry-leading data privacy experts.

The workshop will provide a hands-on approach to the GDPR and will cover the following topics:

• How can controllers and processors build accountability under the GDPR
• Risk management and data protection impact assessments
• Data protection by design
• Preparing for and managing security breaches 
• Transparency, individual rights and complaint handling

The event is aimed at SMEs and public sector bodies, who are processing and storing personal data, and who will be directly affected by the GDPR coming into effect on 25 May 2018.
