Today we look at the Labour Party’s Sick Leave and Parental Leave (Covid-19) Bill 2020. This is a newly proposed bill, that if passed would ensure employees be paid up to six weeks for sick leave. Moreover, it will extend the right to paid Force Majeure leave for circumstances related to Covid-19 absences.
