SFA E-zine – The Tuesday Edition

Dear Member,

Welcome to this week's edition of our SFA e-zine.

This week the SFA Annual Conference is taking place and we are delighted to have Kevin McManamon deliver the the closing address His talk on Prey to Predator is a must hear!  GDPR is top of the agenda for the SFA Annual Conference, John Keyes, Assistant Data Protection Commissioner will address attendees on the eve of GDPR, where he will be taking some questions from delegates in attendance.

With GDPR going live from midnight on Thursday, if you have not yet done so make sure you read our GDPR tip of the week, not only this week's tip but the archive we have built up.

As we prepare for summer make sure to read our advice on temporary employees who you may need to hire, either for extra support during busy months or to cover regular employees who are taking annual leave. Either way you need to be prepared.

If you have 2 minutes I kindly ask you to take part in the digital survey that we are supporting, and we will be sharing the results with you over the coming weeks.

We hope to see as many of you as possible at the conference on Thursday, make sure to come up to the team and say hi!

As always, we’d love to hear from you about any queries you may have, issues you wish to have raised with Government or other stakeholders and your ideas on how we can improve the business environment for us all. Please contact me on tel: 01 605 1602 or e-mail: sven@sfa.ie or tweet: @SFA_Irl or visit: www.sfa.ie.

Kind regards,

Sven Spollen-Behrens
