SFA in the media in September

During the month of September, the SFA featured in the national media with the launch of the SFA National Small Business Awards 2013 Programme by Awards Patron, An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, TD on the 6th September.  See our press release on this by clicking here.

SFA Director Patricia Callan, whilst welcoming the Government’s proposals to reform Public Procurement, raised concerns about the detrimental impact centralised contracts would have on SME suppliers around the country.  To see a copy of this press release please click here.

Patricia Callan also continued lobbying on the subject of implementing mandatory sick pay proposals by the Government onto employers.  Stating that this would cost jobs and affect future recruitment and possibly shut businesses down that are already struggling to stay afloat.  To see a copy of this press release click here.
