SFA E-zine – The Tuesday Edition

Dear Member,

Welcome to this week's edition of our SFA e-zine.   We have a busy few weeks of events ahead in SFA.

Today we share a guide on managing rest periods according to the Working Time Act.  We have seen a large increase in queries over the past couple of weeks in relation to the Act and are going to produce a series on the topic.

We are excited that the SFA Awards are now open for applications.  To kick start this off we have a networking and panel discussion on the 27 September join us to learn how you can use digital to grow your business

SFA is rolling out a new campaign called Grow, Scale, Succeed: securing and finding the right people. This campaign will focus on recruitment, employee engagement and Smart Working.

Our FREE monthly Business Bytes events are starting on 3 October.  This event gives you a 6 step sales process on how to successfully grow your business.

Next Wednesday, 26 September, we have our Employment Law Conference in Cork.  With only 7 days to go book now to avoid disappointment.  We will also be taking the conference to Dublin on 10 October.

As always, we’d love to hear from you about any queries you may have, issues you wish to have raised with Government or other stakeholders and your ideas on how we can improve the business environment for us all. Please contact me on tel: 01 605 1602 or e-mail: sven@sfa.ie or tweet: @SFA_Irl or visit: www.sfa.ie.

Kind regards,
