The SFA made a presentation on the impact of the proposal to pass the liability for paying the first four weeks of sick pay from the Department of Social Protection onto employers to a group of TDs and Senators in Leinster House on 19^th September.  The feedback from those attending was very positive support for our position against the proposals.  Many thanks to all the members who have already contacted their public representatives to express their opposition to this proposal.  It is vital that the campaign against this proposal is sustained in the run up to the Budget and I would ask each of you to keep up your good efforts in this regard.
